Portasonic® Plus with data logger (4 MB internal storage) is a portable, clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter for measuring the flow rate of clean fluids in pipelines.
The Portasonic® Plus uses a customizable, pre-programmed database so it can work with a wide variety of tube materials and fluid types as a highly versatile monitoring solution that can be customized for specific applications.
Portasonic® PLUS provides measurements to within ±0.5% of actual flow. This precision is reinforced by several features:
- Customizable, pre-programmed database - Featuring 19+ fluid types and 23+ piping materials.
- Integrated ultrasonic thickness gauge - To monitor pipe wall thickness and ensure it meets operational safety requirements.
- Built-in signal oscilloscope - For sensor diagnostics and verification of the measurement process.
- 3 measurement methods - To allow the most appropriate application to different pipe sizes. See brochure for details.
- Two sensor options - Suitable for different pipe diameters, waterproof versions are also available.
- Non-invasive - Flow measurement from outside a pipe with external sensors that can be clamped in place
- Accuracy - Device calibration performed in an ISO 17025-certified laboratory with traceable results, accuracy of +/- 1% of reading at speeds> 0.2 m/s.
- Reliable long-term and battery life, lightweight, compact.
- New waterproof cover to prevent water from entering the charging port.
- Datalogging - Stores up to 2000 data lines. This data can be exported to the computer using an RS232 cable.
- 3 test methods - Provides 3 different modes of operation, so can be used in different tube sizes.
- Operating principles; V-method, W-method or Z-method which refers to the positioning of the transducer.
