The maxSHIFT with external antenna comes standard with a 3m SMA cable with fixed 2G/4G omni directional antenna. For all installations >0.5m below ground, an antenna is required to maintain sufficient link budget for relabel operation. The antenna can be placed just below the manhole cover.
