During installation, it is important to leave a space of about 200 mm free above the nitrogen loading valve to check the preload via VGU. It is advisable to check the nitrogen preload every 6 months (VGU). The check should be performed with the machine or plant stopped and at room temperature. In case the preload value has fallen below 10% of the original value, it is necessary to intervene to restore it. If the preload is close to zero or zero, there is a good chance that the internal membrane is damaged or broken. thus, in that case, cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one. For easy replacement, it is advisable to provide the possibility of isolating the battery from the hydraulic circuit by means of special systems and valves such as the DI series safety blocks.
