The self-calibrating microprocessor-controlled AERASGARD~ KCO2 is suitable for duct mounting and serves to measure the CO2 content of air. The sensor is optionally available with or without display. The measurement signal is converted into a standard signal of 0-10V. Optionally, it can be supplied with a switching output. The CO2 content is calculated by means of an NDIR sensor. The measuring range of air quality is calibrated to standard values for residential, office and conference rooms. Occupancy-based ventilation, improvement of well-being, increase of concentration and reduction of energy costs are just some of the reasons to choose AERASGARD~ KCO2 sensors. An NDIR-based measurement system for measuring CO2 consists of a light source and a receiver. A certain wavelength range of the light emitted by the source is absorbed by the CO2 molecules on its way to the receiver. This attenuation/absorption is calculated by the receiver and finally converted into an output signal.
